BEER-DEMANDER
Born in 1982, Vincent Beer-Demander began his musical studies at the age of 8 at the Mandolin School and the CNR in Toulouse. In 2000 he entered the E.N.M in Argenteuil where he obtained the First Prizes in Chamber Music and Musical Training, as well as a First Prize in Mandolin in the class of Florentino Calvo. He then perfected his skills at the Conservatorio di Padova (Italy) with Ugo Orlandi and at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris with Master Alberto Ponce, where he was awarded the prestigious Bachelor of Chamber Music Concert, unanimously with congratulations from the jury.
At the same time, he continued his studies in Orchestration and Composition at the C.N.R.R in Marseille with Régis Campo where he also obtained a First Prize in Composition unanimously with congratulations from the jury. An eclectic musician, Vincent Beer-Demander has distinguished himself in several musical fields: teaching, composition, conducting, research, creation, etc.
A member of the Ensemble contemporain Cbarré with which he created the works of Z. Moultaka,
S. Hadad, M. G. Taroncher, F. Ibbarondo, I. Solano, dedicatee of works by many current composers such as J. Y. Bosseur, R. Campo, M. Grivel, F. Martin, D. Nicolau, T. Ogawa, A. Ourkouzounov, F. Rossé, D. Hue, F. Carrenio, G. Oger, C. Crousier, L. Iacono, etc.
Great composers such as Vladimir Cosma, Claude Bolling and Francis Lai, Richard Galliano, Hamilton de Holanda and Ricardo Sandovalcomposes for him.
Composer, winner of the International Composition Competition of Logrono (Spain), he has been solicited several times for official commissions: Ars Nova, Confédération Musicale de France, Philharmonie de Minsk, Semaine des Cordes Pincées d’Argenteuil…). His music is published by Trekel Musikverlag (Germany), Mundoplectro (Spain) as well as in the “Collection Vincent Beer-Demander” of Productions d’Oz (Canada). Winner of several international competitions (Sartori 2003, Calace 2009, etc.), he regularly performs in France and abroad as a soloist, in various groups, alongside musicians such as Philip Catherine, Mike Marshall, Roland Dyens, Claude Barthélémy, Roberto Alagna, Féloche, Vladimir Cosma, François Rossé, Nana Mouskouri, etc.
His extensive discography (nearly 20 records) reflects his taste for stylistic plurality: contemporary music, Neapolitan song, chamber music, baroque music, etc. He also collaborates with Radio (Radio Nacional Clasica Espagnola, France, Musique, France Inter, etc.), Television and Cinema.
Holder of the State Diploma in ancient instruments, he teaches at the Conservatoire National à Rayonnement Régional de Marseille as well as at the Mandolin Academy in the same city where he is the artistic director. He is a regular guest of various national and international juries, master classes and internships/academies alongside artists such as Pierre Henry Xuereb, Philippe Muller, Patrick Gallois, Emmanuelle Bertrand, Fabrice Pierre, Yehuda Hanany…
